visas and countdowns.
It’s crazy how fast time flies. It just seems like a couple weeks ago that I was applying for my exchange. In a little over a month, I will finally be making my way across the Atlantic ocean and into the United Kingdom for the very first time.
Just a little update on what’s been going on in the past while. I finally had the time to apply for my visa and I just got it in the mail last week. Because work and school have kept me relatively busy, I haven’t really had the opportunity to think of or plan out my upcoming months abroad. I’ve only really got my flight to England set in stone, while everything else is still up in the air. However, I do know that I’m definitely going to travel around Europe while I’m abroad. I’m dead set on visiting Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Germany, Italy, France and other parts of England. Might as well since I am over in Europe, right?
I still haven’t heard about my accommodation yet but I’m crossing my fingers that I get into my first choice. Private en-suite, anyone? I am so not down for sharing a bathroom with anyone. Plus, my first choice residence is the newest residence and I’m hoping that equates to less insects and spiders that I’ll need to kill.
That’s about all for now. I’ll update again when there’s more to share!
