eurotripping: lyon.

If some of you recall, I did a semester abroad at the University of Leeds in England, which was such an amazing experience. There, I got to meet a ton of amazing people, some of which I’ve managed to stay in contact with. One of them was my flatmate, Houssine. He had just finished up his studies in Lyon and was getting ready to move to Paris. Luckily enough for me, we had the chance to meet up when I was in Lyon.

It was super hot in Lyon when I was there and I legitimately wanted to walk around in a bikini. There was also a huge fountain in the city centre and you guys don’t know how tempted I was to run through it so that I could cool down. But apart from the heat, Lyon was a neat city and I got to see quite a bit of it during my full day of sightseeing by myself.

Meeting up with Houssine was really nice. It was so great to see a familiar face and to catch up with him. We had lunch together and then, went to the Parc de la Tête d’Or. We rented a “pédalo” for half an hour and rode around the lake, which was great exercise surprisingly enough.
